Around two years before, Google’s Project X released its first product Google Glass. It is a headset that delivers information in front of right eye by means of augmented reality style interface.

This device consists of 2 GB RAM, an onboard storage of 16 GB with dual core Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 processor; it consists of a 2,100 mAh battery. The speaker has been replaced by bone conduction transducer, other than that it has many sensors which include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, microphone, and proximity.
In order to control this device, a touchpad and a combination of voice command are used, it communicates with its user through sound. With a resolution of 640×360 a small lens is set up above the right eye for projection. Also, it has a camera of 5 Mega Pixels and can record up videos at 720p resolution. Other than that the glass includes a built in Wi-Fi with Bluetooth.
The hardware does not have much attraction; however the software of the glass is really remarkable. Augmented reality software installed in the glass that helps the users to get up to date and exact information.
A software development kit was released by Google in 2013’s spring and till now there are nearly hundred of applications ready to be used by the wearable.
